RX IB - Top EB in Non-NY major city vs. 2nd Tier Boutique in NYC

What's your thoughts on this in terms of learning opportunities & exit ops into buyside?

Looks like, even under this slow RX market, both banks have fair amount of deal flow.

CVP is the PLACE TO BE as a career banker based on comp/culture/reputation alone, plus buyside exits are very strong if you decide to leave. The amazingly high comp at CVP honestly (almost) offsets the comp difference vs PE at everything but a senior level, so if you're chasing the bag you probably will feel less inclined to have to leave, which is a hugely important factor if you actually like your time there. Centerview, imo, is the strongest out of the 4 u mentioned in NYC (PWP/CVP/Ducera/MillerBuckfire)
