SA 22 size is double of SA 21, is that good for SA21?
Hey guys, I am an incoming intern at an IB group that has 4-6 interns for SA 2021 but is looking to bring on 8-12 SA 2022 interns. Is that good news for me? I know it still depends on my performance but I can't help but think that if I perform well I can get an FT offer whereas before this I thought that there could be potential headcount reasons for me not getting an FT offer.
Also, these SA 2022 people will come on FT in 2023. Why will a bank forecast an increase so far in advance without increasing short-term headcount (that is SA 22, FT 21, FT 22)?
