SA after graduating?

Is it possible to apply for a SA position that would take place after I graduate? I'm applying to FT positions right now but I haven't heard back from any places yet. I'm gonna keep trying but in the scenario I don't succeed, I was considering applying for a SA position instead. Would banks consider a SA that had already graduated or will they strictly stick to college seniors?

it's not that interesting, but basically all you do it defer graduation from say May 2023 to Dec 2023 (taking 0 additional credits, just pay some annual filing fees, and for graduation purposes able to walk at graduation but receive diploma in December. Graduation date is still 2023 vs. 2023, so it's all good long term.

Since you're not graduated, you can apply for summer internships - you're eligible.

For some banks applications, they on technicality made you answer stuff making you ineligible - DB I remember, but all the others were cool, and didn't sweat the additional semester/5th yr. I mentioned this J&J 6-month Co-Op I did put me behind a semester but at the benefit of add'l work experience on resume, so I'm graduating in December - was my story if they asked. Most of the time they didn't bring it up

So for 1yr off I took CFA L1 in Dec, L2 in June the next year. July - started FT. L3 - the June after that, working nearly 1 yr FT. That's it

Pretty common if you're in London/Continental Europe.

Yeah you would not be eligible if you graduated already. Most internships require you to graduate December or may of the following year after your summer internship and banks are not flexible with waiving this requirement
