SA clashing with Off-Cycle

Hey Monkeys,

I'm a non-target student who was fortunate enough to land both SA and off-cycle for 2021. Unfortunately, the dates of the internships clash (overlap of about 1 week). The SA firm are aware of the off-cycle and were fine with me finishing a week earlier (would also be starting a week earlier). Do you think this will put me at a disadvantage compared to other interns in terms of converting the SA to FT or is this a "normal" situation? The only alternative solution would be to miss the first week of the off-cycle, which were less flexible.

Grateful for any advice/input!

You should prioritize which firm you prefer

Is it the SA? Then follow their normal timeline

Is it the OC? Then start 1 week earlier the SA

Every small decision you take will impact on the view your team may have on you. It may sound stupid but teams are aware of this situations, I would not be happy to see my intern going to another firm before the official end of the Internship. If I had doubts about you this would be a potential deal-breaker
