I'm just wondering how base and bonus changes as you advance.

Interested as well, especially in the figures regarding equity investments out of undergraduate.
I don't know about undergraduate, but I can tell you comp levels for first year out of MBA at the long only investment management firms in equity research. Base salary ranges from $125k to $150k, signing bonus ranges from $25k to $50k, and end of year bonus is typically 1x base salary ($125k to $150k). As an analyst, your base doesn't change a ton, but your bonus can grow significantly. I don't know what associate PM's or PM's make yet, but hope to tell you in the future. ;)

Salaries seem low compared to IB and the UK sucks big time compared to the US.
That link is just bad info.
L-Star indicated that he/she is interested in buy-side equity research. The relevant figures are under research / investment analyst, which have highly comparable compensation (base+bonus) compared to investment banking at the analyst / associate level.
Not sure if this report is annual or every two years, but generally I've found their data to be at least directionally accurate:

If anything, for the decent sized shops, comp numbers for analysts/PM's look pretty low to me. Generally comp is going to be pretty similar to banking for same-tenured roles.
In IB you don´t get paid more for staying longer, what about Asset Management? Do they pay overtime?
