It's circumstantial. 5-10% seems about right.
Really depends on how old you are and time at a particular company. If you’re younger/newer you should be seeing higher increases than if your 10 yrs experience at the same company.
If people give out numbers there needs to be a lot of context (a-la the compensation thread)
