Schools outside of U.S./Canada/U.K.
What are considered good B-school for finance outside of US, UK, and Cananda? I know INSEAD is highly regarded. Are there any other great ones that are considered legit in NYC or London?

Career Resources
Also, in London at leaset, the Cranfield School of Management is decent. ESADE and IESE not bad either.
IESE is among the top three BS in Europe, can´t even be compared to ESADE.
One of the biggest limitations of IESE is that during the second year some of the electives classes are taught in Spanish.

IMD
I hear a bunch of people from SSE make it into IB but how about the other two major schools in Sweden; Gothenburg SBEL (handels) and Lund?
onpar1: are you asking for mba only?
Lund is well represented (although depends on what course you do), the fact that there are many more from SSE is probably partly due to fewer people being interested at Lund. Never met anyone from Gothenburg or heard of any of the BBs recruiting there so don´t think they are prime recruiting ground
LBS - London Business School. Within top 5 of global rankings in Financial Times I Believe.
London is in the UK...
I always thought IMD was very prestigious.
.
INSEAD
HEC Paris
To the OP, if what you mean is "which MBA not in said coutries for BB IBD", there were a couple of threads a while back.
Bottom line for Europe (excl UK) at least is that targets are INSEAD & IESE (and LBS), with IMD also being a good option althouhg a bit different (as grads have more experience, focus is lore on industry/consulting and classes are much smaller). If you go to any other MBA (ESADE, HEC etc.) you face an uphill fight and it gets even worse when recruiting slows down.
Don't forget Bocconi and St. Gallen - both have good names for London recruiting.
Not for MBA.
Oh...the guy said a good B-School for finance...they both have good finance programs right? I do know at least 4 St Gallen postgrad guys in London, that I've just randomly met around.
You're both right, Bocconi and St Gallen (MSc in Management) are excellent but can't be compared with INSEAD (only MBA, no MSc).
The answer to the OP's question depends on what he wants (MBA vs MSc) and if he has significant work experience or not.
For finance or consulting the best international brand is INSEAD. Apart from LBS nothing else comes close. IMD also has a great brand albeit more for industry.
IESE is a good safety school, it is still 2nd tier despite being targeted by some banks. I've heard their career services leaves alot to be desired and that Opus Dei has a significant influence, affecting things like choice of faculty etc.
As an outlier, Ive also seen some from EM Lyon as well as Reims. europe based only though. london/france

In France, the best choice is what we called the "Parisians": HEC Paris, Essec, ESCP Europe in this order. Then you have EM Lyon / EDHEC / AUDENCIA / EM Grenoble / Rouen Business School, Reims Management School & EM Toulouse. These are in this order the 10 best French Business Schools. However, only the Parisians have a real international recognition. EM Lyon & Edhec are still targets for IB in London. The others are semi targets if you already have some experience / rare languages / extra that are interesting enough but I would'nt recommend any of them for an international student (though one of these is mine).
You may also consider Science Po Paris (IEP Paris), which is somehow the French equivalent of the LSE.
Other than that, France is still dominated by engineering schools whatever job you expect to get upon graduation. (French recruiters tend to hire a guy from Polytechnique - the best engineering school in France and probably one of the best worldwide - rather than an HEC guy)
This. In france the equivalent of the ivy league is what we call the "septuo" (an informal name) which is made of: HEC Paris, ESSEC, ESCP, X (or Polytechnique), Ecole centrale de Paris, Ecole des Mines de Paris, Arts et Metiers.
An undergraduate pursuing a finance major. Contemplating on going to one of the four schools for exchange: - SDA Bocconi - IE Business School - HEC Paris - National University of Singapore
Which should I choose?
