Scrolling while editing cells in excel?
Anyone here know how to enable scrolling while in edit mode? It's really annoying to have to use the bar every time...
Thanks!

sort of a crude fix.. but:
that said, I can scroll using my mouse even in cell edit mode... look in settings, there has to be a way
i'm no stranger to google, and have no idea how to change this setting. I was only able to change the scroll to a zoom - but that's no good.
I don't think this is because I'm using 2013 is it?
This thread cracked me up
Sorry I have no idea what you're asking. Screen should scroll when you move (arrow keys) to the edge, use scroll wheel, or turn on scroll lock.
Scroll Lock my man.
Scroll lock you noob.
Scroll lock you noob.
You mean hitting F2?
exactly.
any thoughts on this? or is my comp the only one not allowing me to scroll while in F2?
Try options -> advanced -> enable 'Transition navigation keys'. I thought that was only for using ctrl+down/up/left/right but maybe it works for this? I don't know..
Not exactly it, but better than nothing - thanks.
I mistakenly said F2, without knowing that there is a difference between pressing F2 and clicking in the editing bar. This method doesn't work with the latter, but does with the former. Makes no sense.
Yes, it is because you are using Excel 2013. By default Excel 2013 does not allow this. It is a simple fix:
Excel Options -> Advanced -> Under the Edition Options, check the box that says "Allow editing directly in cells".
