Second masters degree, low undergrad GPA
Hey guys,
Thinking of applying for a second masters degree in finance at either LSE or Oxford eventhough I have a law background. I finished a three year bachelor program in Dutch Law with a 3.0 GPA, then got a masters degree in Public International Law with a 4.0 GPA and was in the top 2% of my class (out of 122 students). My gmat score is 730 (53Q). I did some extracurricular activities and internships but nothing quantitative or finance related. Do I stand a chance in the application proces eventhough I have a law background and a low undergraduate GPA?
Thanks!
I can't think of any reason why not. Do you have work experience? I think I read somewhere that European MSF programs expect a bit of work experience before attending.
More to the point, you don't have to know the subject to study it. What would the point of the program be if it were otherwise?
53Q?? Found the Asian.
