self care routine suggestions
I work long hours, workout, and drink lots of water but still look very tired.
Looking to see if people here use products to look better after working long hours (e.g. Roll-on for puffy eyes). Could be supplements/creams/oils too. Looking for suggestions. Thanks.
I know it’s seen as “unmanly” but I enjoy using face products to keep the skin healthy and young. I use the face wash kit from Aesop. It includes a wash, toner, and moisturizer. It’s on the pricey end but it works for my sensitive skin. Additionally, I use A+ retinol serum with my moisturizer.
It’s an investment in yourself so I’d consider looking around to see what products work for your skin type.
Also, tons of water and limited/no dairy do wonders to your skin.
Don't overlook what you're eating.
Make sure to get the fruits/vegetables in, or take vitamins for the nutrients.
sniff some water after your blow session

Havent tried it personally, but have heard both great things and negatives. I'd look into it further
KORRES Wild Rose + Vitamin C overnight sleeping facial is pretty good for making your skin look better and healthier. Also look into the Banana Bright Eye Creme by Olehenriksen if you've been noticing dark circles or dryness under/around your eyes.
In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack, I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water activated gel cleanser. Then a honey almond body scrub. And on the face, an exfoliating gel scrub. Then apply an herb mint facial mask, which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an aftershave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.
Damn
Don't skip meals... replace them. I'm not a huge breakfast guy and typically don't give myself enough time in the mornings anyway... so I got a meal replacement powder from jimmyjoy.com. This is just one of many out there, but I drink 1/3 of a cup with 400 oz of milk for breakfast, then 2/3 a cup with 650 oz of water for lunch (I don't bring milk to work) along with a quick bite of actual food. I try to eat a full dinner.
In comparison to what I was eating before (nothing for breakfast and minimal lunch), this adds a lot of my daily nutrients that I was missing. No extraordinary evolution in my life, but I do feel better.
I know thats a typo or I just don't know what 400 oz actually is. But I read that as you drink 3 gallons of milk every morning and thats what I'm sticking with.
lmao I meant ml...
Maybe a different job that has less stress and hours.
Use a facial moisturiser with at least SPF 15 - will keep the wrinkles at bay and keep you looking young well into your early 40s.
