Senior in Big 4 to Analyst in buyside infrastruture?
Fellow Monkey's,
Is switching from a 2nd year senior associate in Valuation Group of a big four accounting firm to a publicly listed infrastructure fund as an analyst worth it? Is switching as analyst normal from accounting or can one come in at the associate level without prior IB/PE/MBA experience?
Any answer in the next 36 hours would be great!
Thanks!!
Would that be your 4th year in the industry? Associate (2 years) -> Senior Associate (2nd year)?
Yes. 2 Years associate, then new senior associate and now experienced senior associate so into my 4th year after UG.
I'm just wondering if I'm taking a big step down going for analyst where a 1 year experience is the "stated" job description. Anyone know?
At some firms its 1 year Associate > 1 year Senior Associate > 1 year Assistant Manager
