Senior, Non-Target, Resume Review

Hey guys I haven’t gotten a resume review in a while. I am a senior at a non-target state school. I received an offer from JPMorgan’s Treasury and Securities Services Analyst Program but possibly looking into IBD after a few years there and B-School. Let me know what your guys think.

Thanks in advance

What's your font size? If I were you, I would try to keep the font size to 12. I think you should also have a blank line between your experiences because they look quite jam-packed as of now.

Overall you've got some solid experience but you need to clean it up and open it up more:

  1. You need spaces between your experiences - both professional and leadership - it's all way too squeezed together.

  2. You have too many bullets and sub bullets - you can delete or combine at least a few of your points in your JPM experience and delete the first primary bullet, the title bullet (Selected Project Experience) and focus on cleaning up your projects and tasks - you don't need to discuss every single thing that you did, only what is more relevant and impressive - setting up calls, reading through and retaining things doesn't need to be on your resume.

  3. Some of your bullets are in good shape, but others run on for 2-3 lines and don't go into how you accompished your task - only a bunch on what you did - ex. You Identified the impact... but how did you do it - was it anything complex - it could be seen as a lot of fluff - your saying that it allowed management to do things, but your not really telling me if you did anything or just show them a document or a number out of a document.

  4. Remove the periods and take out the "/4.0"

  5. were do to Foreign... should be "were DUE to Foreign..."

  6. All bullets should start with a verb and in that first verb should be past tense

  7. Your dates and cities should be aligned to the right

  8. Move Concentration into its own bullet - maybe a double bullet with GPA

Good luck.
