Series 79 timeline
Taking the S63 next week and then have to start the 79. How long did it take you guys to study for the Series 79 (hours/weeks/months)? I'm using Knopman Marks. I know its technical-heavy, I have experience in college-level finance classes so hopefully I'll already know some of it. I also work a full time job so I'm trying to figure out how to best allocate my spare time. Thanks in advance.
Curious about this as well - is it wise taking notes for the S79 w/ Knopman Marks when the book is over 400+ pages? Or is it better to read through with a highlighter, then watches videos and take the practice exams?
Knopman's got a recommended study program. Would just follow that. Think they advise just skimming the textbook, and then starting to jam practice tests and focus on your weaker areas. These exams are mostly a matter of trusting the process
Knopman is great. Honestly, I would say about 1/3 of the 27 book should just be review from corporate finance. They also should have a quick guide and the short videos, so I would read the 2/3rds of the book that is new, and then just hammer out the videos and practice exams.
