Shoes Advice

From previous posts I've seen the majority recommend AE's or Johnston & Murphy on the lower end.

But was curious to see if anyone has had good experience with the following:

Decent sale, not sure how much the shipping is; was also looking into Meermin

Not sure, but if you go to an AE store, they march nordstrom's sale prices. You have to take into account that the sole may be thicker on the AEs or JMs, and may last longer before resoling because of that. You also don't know your size on each brand/last, so if youre looking to get the British shoes, make sure to take your measurements well, or you may find the shoe with a poor fit. Some people prefer to have shoes recrafted only by the manufacturer. If thats your case, international shipping charges may apply if you live in the US. To my eye, the options given look like they're good quality, but I'd rather hold them in person, if possible.

I would prefer to have them in person as well but seems like such a good deal, and in their sizing comments they don't specify much besides:

"The size is the size of your foot. A larger size is for a larger foot. All shoes vary in length due to different last shapes, welts and so on. We cannot measure shoes to fit your feet because of this variation."

I'll keep searching for deals if not I will take the risk.
