Anyone heard of this company / thoughts?
Basically a tech start up which sets up listening equipment around dangerous parts of US cities then alerts police when shots are fired , then uses AI to build a map of where/when violence occurs. Has track record of increasing successful arrests of violent criminals. Interesting considering gun ownership will likely never be restricted in the US. Have also been expanding to other dangerous cities around the world in South Africa and elsewhere.
SAAS business model, growing revenues 48% Yo% , generates $1 of recurring revenue per 30 cents invested capital (after 1 yr of SG&A costs). However trades on the kind of valuation multiples which would make Seth Klarman's left ventricle explode.
Growth investor guys, is 84x forward P/E too much or far for a fast growth SAAS business with high ROIC?
