Should I actually 'call with questions' when invited?

For the job I accepted, I have been told twice at this point to reach out with questions from the VP who offered/interviewed me. I don't have any questions but wouldn't mind chatting and finding out more about the position, his experience with analysts, what makes a good one, preparation, etc, etc, etc.

However, I don't know if that would be weird? Or if it's him just saying to call but not really? He says he loved my enthusiasm.

I don't know the etiquette around such things. Any input would be appreciated, even if it's "Stop overthinking."

Is this your first job or something? You’ll figure out most of this stuff the first few days of working.

"If you always put limits on everything you do, physical or anything else, it will spread into your work and into your life. There are no limits. There are only plateaus, and you must not stay there, you must go beyond them." - Bruce Lee
