Should i add my boss's boss on Linkedin?

Hi, i have recently accepted an offer after going through 5 rounds of interview with different members of the team. Since i accepted, my line manager has added me on Linkedin which i have accepted. I really want to add the VPs, Directors which interviewed me too as they have really strong networks and i think i could use that to my advantage in my career. But since i won't be working directly with them and they are located very far from my base ( Im UK based, they are all over the US). Would it be weird if i add them given that i am so far below in hierarchy from where they are.

Just... don't.

If you really want to add them, when you send the invitation you should include a brief note thanking them for their help throughout the process. Don't just leave it the standard "I'd like to add you to my network." Make sure they know why you're adding them as a connection. Even though a lot of times higher ups get a million requests and accept a lot, it's better to have them kind of remember who you are/why you're connecting.
