Should I apply to the position I'm most qualified for or the one I want? (Morgan Stanley)

Hey everyone,

I just recently found this website and have found it truly informative and helpful. As a recently graduated senior from a non-target school about to start a one-year MBA program (same school) I had a question about a potential job opportunity.

On my school's website there are two jobs available at Morgan Stanley: Audit Summer Analyst - Technology and Audit Summer Analyst - Business.

While I am definitely more interested in the business position, my credentials are more suited for the Technology one. (B/S Accounting, MBA Business Analytics)

My question is should I apply to the Technology one as I feel I would have a better chance of landing an interview, or should I apply to the business one. My rationale is that it would be better to get into the company and then transfer to a different role. I would appreciate any advice or thoughts, especially from those who have experience within similar companies.
