Should I feel good about this?
I just graduated college and just got an offer a brokerage gig at a huge shop (CB, C&W, NKF, JLL).
Is this impressive or not really?

Congrats on the job offer! All those firms are great learning spots, and if you take it be a sponge. In terms of impressions, depends what you're doing in my opinion. IA and debt hits different than research and marketing. Need more information to really gauge, and the level of "impressiveness" is all relative at the end of the day.
Who cares? Prestige doesn't pay the bills, and as far as brokerage shops go, those are the big ones. You got a job in the industry - that is a big deal in and of itself and is the essential first step.
Learn as much as you can for a year or two and then reassess if it's something you want to do long term. Congrats on the offer!
Silly OP - this is WSO, only Eastdil is impressive here.
You're never going to be happy if you determine your job based on what others think. Is it what you want to do? If so, then you should be happy.
Congrats! Also, never discount the first job offer within your field out of college. It's easy to get caught up in this when you're eager and things aren't aligning. At the end of the day, this industry isn't something that can be taught in a classroom and any company that invests in you straight out of college is taking a tremendous chance. I say this because it's highly unlikely you're going to be able to quarterback anything/bring valuable relationships to the brokerage in your first year. Expect to block & tackle for your first few years.
Also, what type of validation are you seeking? You're going to be the one going to the aforementioned job every day so the only thing that should be important is if you are impressed. At the end of the day, your family + friends will just assume you sell houses.
1) Getting jobs are always impressive and people downplay the stress with the job hunt. 2) If you prestige chase you'll never be happy. In this industry (and every other one on WSO) where wealth is apparent, you're in a world of hurt if you can't realign your priorities.
Are you insecure or not really?
