The other consideration beyond compliance restrictions is that, as a banking analyst, you simply won’t have the time, bandwidth, and energy to research stocks / bonds to invest in. Much better idea, in my humble opinion, to invest through mutual funds or index funds which I would imagine is permitted at your bank.
You all think you're some ot shots for selling one stock and making $10 huh? How about when you lose your job cuz you made that one play for the hot stock and made $50 but lost your career?
