Should I spend my tax refund on a nice watch?
Getting back around $3,000. Just looking for a nice conservative watch. Something ofifice friendly.

IWC Portofino will run you about $3500 new, and a Portugese about $6,000. Don't buy new though; find a nice, lightly used model on eBay which should cut the price in half.
Portofino looks pretty nice. Will probably just wait for that one. Or just grind out with the current watch I have now

Good rule of thumb, this isn't an iron clad rule, but generally (and I mean pretty much universally), don't spend more than 1/5 of your pre-tax yearly income on stupid shit like a watch.

No. If you're a senior, the last thing you should be trying to do is drop dollar like that. You're leaving what you will soon realize are the four best years of your life. Go out with a bang. Make memories, you'll soon have more money but no time to spend it. Enjoy yourself. Go all out for spring break and get your tits wet. Get involved. Crush college with a vengeance, you won't get another shot. Worry about the watch when you have bonuses to throw around.
