should I switch internships?
Hey guys,
I'm a freshman, and I currently have an internship at a venture capital firm. I actually do get to evaluate companies, and I'm learning a lot. But if I want to continue over the summer, I can only do part time. And also, this internship is kind of wierd, b/c I always spend like two hours talking to my boss every day I go in--about whatever I'd like to talk about. Also most of the companies get rejected, so I just do a lot of inital evaluation, and then never hear from them again, and my boss is slow in giving me new deals.
I just had an interview with a small hedge fund today. I don't know if I can get the job, but if I do, should I switch for the summer? This is way I can do full time. Also, I know that what you do at hedge funds differ depending on the fund. What are some signs of a good hedge fund, where I can expect a good internship? Please Help!
