Should I take/continue with the Internship?

Hi Monkeys!

I'm a freshman at a semi-target and I'm interested in consulting/banking. I'm interviewing for a small (but credentialed) consulting firm where I would be reaching out to executives while being paid by commission. However, I found out that I missed the deadline for the winter position so the internship would be over the summer (40 hours).

I'm questioning whether I should continue with the interview process as I could also look towards asset management internships instead. I could also interview, see if I get the position, then decide later.

Would asset management or this consulting firm be a better summer internship for future consulting or banking jobs?

Thanks!
