Should I try and internal transfer?

So I was just given a likely letter for Cornell, and I applied for math/Econ in the college of arts and science, not Dyson.

I already plan on joining the necessary finance clubs and all that.

Should I try to transfer to dyson my sophomore year? Will it make a difference, or am I fine in the liberal arts college?

You can give transferring a shot, but Cornell's ocr isn't based on major. There are kids who land Evercore IB as psych majors and shit. You can search through the websites of some of the finance clubs (dsp was a big thing back when I was there) for student bios. I didn't check many profiles, but the last girl is info sci and at Evercore this summer.

If you're smart enough, pick a STEM major for the flexibility.

I was planning on doing math, so hopefully that would work out if I decide to go this fall. Thanks for the reply, didn't know that ocr doesn't matter for each major, that is definitely helpful.
