Does anyone here have some intel on what kind of sign on packages one can expect for quant PM positions at multi strat platforms? I am quite far in the application process with some of them.
The thing is that I will have a one year non compete, of which 6 months may be unpaid. Also in case I resign soon obviously I would not get a bonus this year and, since I have to sit out one year, also next year. This means the costs of a move are huge for me. Any idea how much of the comp that I would miss would normally be bought out by a firm looking to hire me? I work in London in case this matters.
