Silly etiquette question..

I'm having lunch tomorrow with a CFO at the Rock Center Club in the Rainbow Room, never been here before, but is this something I should be wearing a tie to? or is it more casual during lunch and I can just forget the tie?

The guy is pretty laid back, but I wasn't sure of the atmosphere at this place..

Thanks in advance

well ppl are criticize for underdressing... technically you can hardly be challenged for overdressing... and since you're meeting the CFO it makes sense to dress up as respect too. hope this helps.

Meeting with a CFO? At the Rainbow Room? Yes, if I were you I would definitely be in suit and tie.

I've been to the Rainbow Room twice -- one time it was for a business meeting and the other was for a family holiday dinner, and in both cases I was in suit and tie. I believe the dress code there is "jacket preferred" at a minimum, anyway.
