SimpleShortcuts Excel Add-In

When I switched jobs from a bulge bracket investment bank to a middle market private equity fund, I found myself without the great Excel shortcuts that I had at my prior job where we used DealMaven. Unable to find a cheap alternative to DealMaven, I finally caved and created the following little Excel add-in that does everything I need. Please feel free to download a copy if you're interested. Hope it's helpful!

When I first started in PE after leaving MBB, I found myself without the Dealmaven add-in and felt like a heroin addict going through withdrawal when trying to use Excel. Everything I did took twice as long, and the formatting looked like shit.

I immediately paid up for a new license and convinced HR to reimburse me (it's now included as a standard add-in for all new hires), but the idea of creating your own custom shortcuts is another route I suppose.

Could some of the more experienced guys post what else they use to make their work with Excel quicker and more effective? Dealmaven and what else? Any other add-ins, anything else? Does anyone use ASAP Utilities??

Yeah i've always wanted to know what other analysts out there do / use to make the day go by quicker?

Hey guys! I've received so much feedback on SimpleShortcuts that I added the ability for users to customize the hotkeys to their personal preferences. Hope this is helpful!
