Single Mothers and sleep deprivation

Hi there,

I am conduct research on sleep and would like to get feedback from single mothers. Now I know that with a newborn it is impossible to get a full night of sleep, but I am wondering how common it is for single mothers with older children to still experience chronic sleep deprivation and low energy levels throughout the day. If you are one of these people, could you please reply by stating what you have done to try to fix this and whether it has been successful or not. It not, please inform your biggest frustrations when it comes to learning how to optimize your sleep.

Thank you!

Are you lost or dumb? What kind of researcher doesn't even know how to identify their target base for study properly? This is a finance forum, not a single mother support group for swapping tips on cleaning up shit stains.

On another note, if anyone knows how to get such stains out of Italian wool, tips would be appreciated.

Nah he found the perfect demographic for his research. We're bunch of finance people with sky high egos who think we know everything.

Spoiler Alert: OP isn't conducting research on single mothers. OP is actually conducting research on narcissistic and egotistical individuals.

I think you're being a bit too generous with ascribing intelligence to random people on the internet. But what do I know, I'm just a narcissistic and egotistical individual.

Contrary to popular media-myth I have yet to meet a single mom who was career driven, carefree, balanced, and happy; doing it all type gal as often portrayed in most media outlets. The reality I have seen over the years is usually a stressed out, overworked, debt stricken woman who really had no idea children cost so much in time, effort and money. Their careers are on hold as they need to balance their child with sickness, school activities versus moving up whatever career ladder they are on. Most single moms are raising their children with help of an extended family member (usually their mom), a bevy of friends and other single moms they find in support groups. It is usually not a pretty picture at all.

Somewhere along the way, usually quite quickly they come up with the idea that they need a partner to help them in their new enterprise of having a child and the sooner they can get one the better. Realizing they have a bit of a disadvantage with having a child and being in the dating scene they resort to several well known strategies to get a partner.

Which well-known strategies are you referring to? Is this obvious to everyone but me? They usually just "settle" (I put that word in quotes because they fuckin thrashed their SMV by becoming a mother) for dudes who are either superbetas or drug addicted shitheads. Both categories of dude are gonna be really bad ....men to have around (I won't call them dads) in their own ways.

I was raised by a single mom and she did this. He was a terrible dude and it was terrible being brought up in that house. She admitted it herself later on. Dumb whore

I remind my wife that her sexual market value is now trash when she threatens to leave when I break beer bottles and back her into a corner with them. I tell her, 'You dumb whore. Who you gonna find with that baby in tow? Some fucking chump who raises children who aren't his own? More like who molests children who aren't his own. Get back in the fucking kitchen'

AMIRITE BOYS?

Single mothers have serious baggage most of the time. I dated one once and will never date anyone with kids again.

The kids didn’t even live with her and there were tons of issues. Nope nope nope.

Dude I had to unsub for everything but like 3 subreddits. Reddit makes me so angry. Just like the existence of a lot of subreddits makes me angry
