So, what's next? Advice needed.

I currently work in Industry in an IT Strategy role and I have been working from the past 2 years after graduating with a BS/MS in Computer Science. I wanted to switch to Consulting because of the slow pace in Industry. I networked my way into 3 interviews - 2 with a Big 4 and 1 with a firm similar to Big 4. I went to the final round of interviews with all of them and had great interviews. The results - not so much. One Big 4 ended up giving me an offer in a completely different service line than the one I had interviewed for. In another Big 4, I went up against a 8 year old Manager who was interviewing for a Senior position and he was working for their largest client and I have no idea how non-compete works. My network contact was a Big 4 Manager in the same service line in the same office and that's how I got the news. But whatever. The firm similar to Big 4 ended up freezing their recruitment because they lost a few of their major clients plus they are not doing so well - so I might/might not get the offer.

There are not many companies in the industry who have IT Strategy specific roles, my networks are running out and I am from a non-target for MBB. So all in all, I have no idea what to do next. Do I keep trying for Big 4 or can I try for Tier 2s? I am originally from France and I can't join Accenture/IBM and a lot of Consulting firms because I am on a work Visa.
