Something is wrong with my resume
'Sup guys,
Something is obviously wrong with my resume, I applied for a couple of banks likes MS and SocGen (w/o networking), and I couldn't even get a first round interview (FYI not New York office). I got interviews from some boutique hedge funds -- though I didn't make it to the final round (they usually only take 1-2 interns).
Some background: I'm an international student majoring in Econ and Computer Science at HYPSM. The first two objects under my work experience are through the finance-related clubs I have at school - unfortunately, so I don't really have previous internship positions.
Any tips on revamping my resume?
I think networking and my GPA is the main problem right now -- but I'm not entirely sure the rest of my resume is fine.

Thanks!
funny how you block out the name of your HS but not summer school or college.

Resume is fine. Start networking, get interview guides, etc.
First, ur a sophomore so ofc it's harder. Second, u need to emphasize more the results of what of u did, not just passive descriptions Third, u dont list any interests, i would suggest some, ur resume makes u look like another quanty finance robot
Fourth, u do need to network as ur resume is not outstanding enough that u would just auto get lots of interviews. Reading ur resume more carefully, I can see that you definitely work very hard and have a lot to offer. However, from the perspective of some1 reading this in 30seconds to 1 min, just looks like another bland resume
Plus ur 3.68 is not doin u any favors.
Basically make ur resume more crisp somehow, highlight teh stuff that's important, add interests, network
Double post
I lol'ed at the fourth paragraph/sentence
Is this a joke? You think something is wrong with your resume because you weren't invited to interview at 2 banks with zero networking?
HTML isn't a programming language... You sure you know how to use HTML?
And you didn't network in a terrible financial institution hiring economy. You got what you deserved to get.
I got offers with a 3.66 gpa idk why you think that is holding you back. You need more active language-- results, etc. Your resume is really f**king boring to be honest and you seem bland. I wouldn't want to interview you-- make yourself sound personable.
I would make your resume seem more human. You might be a great guy but most people reading your resume as it is now would have no interest in working with you 90 hours per week.
You can probably chill on the academic accomplishments (listing high school math olympiads??). You have a 3.7 from MIT so no one is going to call you out on intelligence.
