This might sound super weird.
Background story: I studied math as an undergrad. Therefore, I believe it's safe to assume that I'm not a dumbass in logical thinking as all math majors do are writing mathemtical proofs (logic).
I find it extremely irritating when people say "I don't see the logic here" or "There must be a more logical way to say that" (not to me, but in general)
Logic is very subjective imo. As long as your argument does not defy basic natural sciences facts, I believe there is some "logic" in it.
For example: today is Wednesday, and Wednesday is comic book night.
That might sound weird (sure to me). At the same time, it is extremely logical to Sheldon Cooper from TBBT.
Too many people I know do not really understand "logic". I might be one of them too.

Thing is most people don't understand logic or even when they do, they're not always going to be precise in their words as a mathematician would be. Third option is the colloquial definition of logic is different from one's that mathematicians & other logicians use. It's sort of a figure of speech.
In your Sheldon Cooper example, the logic follows as "If it's Wed, then it's comic book day". This would not make sense to anyone but who follows Sheldon Cooper's axiomatic system, which would define Wed as comic book night.
In thay sense logic is subjective because each person has their own axiomatic system thay they use. Another example, I eat oats at least once a day. So if I were to say "I eat oats everyday" that would be a perfectly logical and true statement. But for someone who doesn't eat oats, that'd be a false and illogical statement. In my own "axiomatic system", the definition of oats is roughly "that whole grain thing that I love and eat everyday". For the other person it might be "that whole grain thing that I hate and will never eat".

The way we make logical statements typically derive from a priori statements which are based on assumptions or observations of natural phenomena. An example of an a priori statement for example is that "all bachelors are single". We don't require external knowledge i.e. a posteriori or empirical basis to come to the logical conclusion of the previous sentence. What I'm trying to get at is that while bachelor is a word defined by humans and may or may not have correct parameters, the conclusion that based on the definition a bachelor must be single is inherently logical and does exist and coming to that conclusion isn't necessarily subjective. I think reading into the epistemology of math might be fun if you want to figure that stuff out. All I've got are simple examples haha.
Also, when people say something is illogical, sometimes it is illogical but every other time, they're just too stupid to see the logic. I think that is semantics lol. Saying there's a more logical way to describe something just means there's better words to define the same logic.

In social science, there is only opinion. So you are partially right, logic doesn’t exist in social science.

You use logic to separate good opinions from the bad.
Difference is much of social sciences is left to empirical research but there isn't sufficient data. Hence you can't definitely prove whether 1 opinion is true or not.
Once more evidence comes in, then opinions get updated, verified, or thrown out.
Problem is people sometimes get attached to opinions and stubbornly refuse to throw out bad opinions.
