Sophomore Internship at a Non-Profit - Economic Development and financial advising

I’m a sophomore at a T10 university and am thinking about engaging in non-profit work over the summer. Ultimately, a corporate job in finance/consulting aligns with my career goals, but I really believe that an opportunity to create positive change (no matter how minimal) is important and meaningful to me. I am heavily involved in business clubs (I run my own business through a student run company) and have experience in data analytics. Will this significantly hurt me for IB recruiting later on?
