SOS! I need to pick a school by tonight! (Undergrad)

I'm in desperate need for advice on what college to attend to for my undergraduate degree! I'm currently a senior in high school and have to decide by tonight (May 1). I want to business finance and political science with the hopes of one day working in investment banking. I was admitted to Case Western Reserve Weatherhead, Fordham Gabelli, Furman, Indiana Kelley, Miami of Ohio Farmers, Northeastern D'Amore-McKim, Richmond and Louisville. ALSO, I was admitted to Cornell ILR as a guaranteed transfer student. Since Cornell is a target school, I though it would be smart to stay in-state for a year to save money, then transfer to Cornell. However, it seems as though it is extremely difficult for someone in the ILR school to actually go into investment banking/business realm because they are not as favored for internships, interviews, recruiting, etc. as the AEM students.

I also thought that I could transfer to AEM once at Cornell, but they don't allow external transfers to change disciplines within the university after they transfer!

ANY AND ALL ADVICE IS APPRECIATED!

Cornell is tiers above everything else. I don't know how the guaranteed transfer works, but if you can go actually go anywhere prior, just save as much money as possible/party as much as possible. Once you get in, your GPA is going to be fresh for your sophomore year, so make sure to absolutely destroy your first two semesters at Cornell. They'll be your only two semesters than make up your GPA prior to junior recruiting.

You can get into IB from ILR. Kids do it all the time. Just make sure your GPA is solid and try to get in a business frat if you can.

Thanks everyone! I put a deposit on the University of Richmond, but I also am still filling things out to attend my state school as it would be 60k cheaper than going to Richmond just to transfer. I can't decide if I should go to Richmond and have the typical 4 year college experience or to wait an extra year to matriculate to Cornell. Is it worth it to be at a school for three years and be locked into a major that doesn't specifically cater to what I want to do, even if it IS Cornell? Isn't Richmond supposed to be one of the top b-schools with awesome alumni?

I don't think Richmond is a top business school - it is however, a very respectable school. Short answer is that no, it is not worth going to a school to major in something you don't wan't to do just for the name. BUT as many have said, you can make it into IB or finance through ILR. People do it, just have to work hard as everyone mentioned (which will be the case at any school).

If you are transferring, save yourself or your parents 60k and just go to the state school. Or, if possible, just take a year off and enjoy life. Work, save some money, travel, all that good stuff.

Here is the career report for ILR BA, plenty of finance opportunties: https://www.ilr.cornell.edu/sites/ilr.cornell.edu/files/ILR_bachelorTRI…

The one alternative would be to go to say Richmond and just KILL IT for a year or whatever and then apply to transfer to say Wharton, Michigan, UNC, UVA, MIT, NYU, etc. You could even ask Cornell if they will allow you to apply for transfer to AEM.

EDIT - undergrad experience, it's smart to consider this. Undergrad is about a lot more than just "can school x get me into IB". It can be tough for a transfer student socially. You just need to make more of an effort to make friends - join clubs, fraternity maybe, club sports, so on. That's a personal question though and not one we can really help you with.
