Speaking to Head of BB/UMM? What to ask?

Hey guys, I'm lucky enough to have a 30 minute zoom session this week with a head of a banking coverage group in a UMM/BB. Does anyone know how the head of the group's work compares to senior bankers (MD/VP)? I've spoken with MD's and VP's and have a couple good senior banking related questions, but I'm not sure if the work is different for a head of a division/coverage group. Are MD questions fair game for the head of a division? What does the head do on a day to day basis compared to an MD? I would appreciate if anybody has good questions they've asked in a similar situation.

Ask some big picture stuff...something that even the directors in your group probably couldn't answer (like about overall bank strategy etc). Can also ask more personal questions if he seems like that kind of guy.

There are typically two kinds of heads of groups: (1) someone who just manages people and has a select list of high-quality clients that he owns the relationship with, and (2) someone who is still pretty actively involved in pitching and executing business.

That's awesome to hear. The dude gave me a referral and sent my resume to HR. Do you think that gives me a decent chance of a first round even if I'm a non-target?
