Spinning tax consulting for IB resume
Hey folks,
I somehow managed to get a summer internship at a big 4 firm for "financial services business tax consulting". Problem is, I have no fucking clue what I'll be doing, and next year's IB apps open before my internship even starts. Anyone know the best way to spin the experience to make it sound as relevant to IB as possible?
This for FT or SA? For SA you can do essentially anything related to finance for the sophomore summer, just talk why that kind of work is interesting (understanding tax laws, working with businesses, connecting that to some of the IB technical concepts - depreciation, tax inversion M&A, etc.)
