St. Gallen vs SSE vs Nottingham (Undergrad)

Hey everyone,

I'm a German highschool senior and I'll be starting my undergrad studies this fall. At the moment I am deciding between 3 schools:

  • St. Gallen
  • SSE
  • Nottingham

My goal at the moment is London IB, but a good placement in Germany definitely wouldn't hurt. Also while the career opportunities are definitely important to me, I also want to have a fun student life. If anyone has any insights or can help me with my decision, I would really appreciate it.

I would pick HSG.

Nottingham is a semi-target and SSE doesn't place well for Spring Weeks (I am from Sweden myself). SSE is only good because you can do part-time work in banking on the side of your coursework but because you don't speak Swedish you will get 0 looks.

If you apply early for SW and SA you will get offers from HSG.

Stockholm is decent, but SSE is not a big business school and for ugd it is not diverse. You will be around 90% Swedish people who will not speak English. If your goal really is London IB or good placement in Germany I wouldn't go to SSE.

I know multiple people who loved HSG, its a bit smaller but you can build a more long-lasting relationship imo.

The most important point: You will not be targeted for recruiting in London if you do not speak Swedish from SSE.
