might have blown up my career idk

so yesterday i got pretty fucking drunk on zoom with friends (this was like 11pm)

ED proceeds to share recent deal that happened at a pretty high valuation at the project group chat and i say how nice it was, proceed to send Mortal Kombat GIFs.

VP asks me if im high and I say yes, he hits me on private baiting he wants to get some weed and i fall for it

He then sends on chat "u cant imagine the chat im having with him on private"

I dont know wtf i did, theres a 50 50 chance they had a good laugh, or im getting fired. So far nothing happened. I am considering suicide

This career isn’t worth your life. Yeah that sounds like a pretty stupid mistake, don’t get me wrong, but this life is all about making stupid mistakes and learning from them.

Wake up tomorrow with this experience under your belt. If you stay on the job then great, learn to not get drunk and message people stupid things. Don’t hurt yourself, because you’ll still have a bright future ahead of you, even if you don’t work at this place anymore. You can get a job somewhere else. Also though, if you get fired then you should report that VP for asking you for weed.

Much worse to ask for it than it is to say “yeah, I’ll give you some”, in my opinion.

bro he baited you, he should get in trouble

I think the FBI is allowed to do that so why not his VP?
