S&T Pre-Internship Training Week

To all ex S&T summer analysts: I was wondering what does the training week at the outset of S&T SA programmes entail? I'm considering using that as an indicator of what pre-internship prep I should do and even regardless of that, it'd be nice to know beforehand.

I've also heard "Zoologic modules" pop up on a number of occasions in related discussions. A quick Google search didn't yield much so any info regarding this will also be much appreciated. Thanks!

DeltaOneSkilliad, bummer your thread hasn't had a response yet. Maybe one of these threads could point you in the right direction:

If we're lucky, the following users may have something to say: cibrahim12 Anihilist Rmrozek

If those topics were completely useless, don't blame me, blame my programmers...

Common things include: Meet and greets/welcome presentations with desk heads, & other seniors members, and basic Excel/bloomberg training.

Don't worry about this week at all. It'll mostly just be you and other interns.

If you want to get ahead, try to take a day off of school and visit the trading floor (reach our to whoever interviewed you/whoever's desk your going to be on and ask if you can come in for an afternoon). Ask ahead of time if there's anything you should prep.

That afternoon will be a great opportunity to show interest, get a feel for the work/culture, meet who you'll work with, and ask more detailed questions on what you can do to prep.
