S&T trading interview process?

Hi,

I had first round S&T interviews last week at a few BBs. It's been more than a few days since I heard anything. Had some friends who had ib interviews with same BBs and they heard back within 1-2 days. Is the interview process for S&T different than that of the rest? Thanks.

I had my interviews on Tuesday (on campus at a target school). These were first round interviews (although with senior people at the banks), and still haven't heard anything. Should I contact HR?

To be honest it is most likely that you're waitlisted or rejected. (My experience from going through recruitment this year) Contacting HR won't help with anything. For those that I got a superday for, I got called within the same day (like 3 hours later)

1-2 days isnt that long after the first round.

I would say that after a week or so, they will have an idea of who they want to fly out for super days. But if you dont hear back- dont reach out to HR. It will do nothing but piss you off:

You: "Do you have any updates or feedback?" HR: "We are still evaluating candidates at this time. And no, we do not give feedback." You: !@!wedaqwo!@!skdjlsl

Conversely, superdays you will hear back no later than 1-2 days after if you're selected.

"Sounds to me like you guys a couple of bookies."

Might vary from firm-to-firm and across universities then. I know that for my school Citi, MS, BAML, DB and GS all did same-day for both superdays and job offers
