Staffing post buy-side departures
how does staffing in your group work after 2nd years leave for PE/HF/Corp Dev? does your staffer wait until the new 1st year class comes in and give them the accounts that previously belonged to the old 2nd years, and give the work for those accounts to the summers in the meantime? or staff to current 1st years as things pop up and staff the remaining accounts to the next set of 1st years?
i imagine just about every group is encountering this situation right now so i thought it was a relevant topic
