Stanford, Columbia, or UChicago (undergrad)?
Hey WSO,
I'm a high school senior who just heard back from all the colleges I applied to. Of my acceptances, I have shortlisted three schools: Stanford, Columbia, and UChicago. After college, I have a tentative plan of going into the finance sector, hopefully in some capacity involving data science. I'm aware that the differences in these schools are marginal, but what would you guys recommend in terms of hiring/recruiting prospects, and general program strengths?
Thanks y'all
Stanford.
agree, Stanford
^Stanford.
Any particular reason?

Stanford. Data science = CS and Stanford is by far the #1 CS school. All the quant funds will recruit there. You can't go wrong with any of the three, but Stanford carriers the most prestige, and will open more doors.
