Staying for promotion after getting another offer?

I have a corporate finance job lined up. I am also a few months out from my promotion. Let's say the corporation is willing to pay out the pro rata share of my bonus if I decide to jump ships now. Alternatively, I can also stay until after my promotion and bonus then jump ships. What would be the better choice? Is there a benefit to staying for the promotion just to have the title?
