Strong non-"top" HFs
Know there's a ton of discussion here around the "top" HFs like Tiger, Coatue, Elliott, Viking, etc. I was curious if anyone knew some good names that are maybe a notch below?
I'm a banking analyst trying to recruit for HFs and would be excited to work for a top HF but also want to know some other names as well. Ideally, I'd like to join a long-oriented / long term investment firm with at least ~$1B in AUM

TCI is absolutely a top tier fund, one of the largest and best performing fundamental managers in existence.
TCI is best in class. I’d rather work there than Coatue any day of the week. But who gets to choose this anyway?
