Stuck in dead vol trading job - What to do and where to go?

I took a trainee trader job (2017) at a well regarded but smaller trading firm focused on making markets on EUR IRD (options and futures).

The current monetary policy hasn't been the kindest to us and I'm looking to leave asap. Given my limited experience on the desk what could I realistically transition into without going back to school or CFA etc.

My role has been that of a trading assistant/trade support kinda thing.

Thanks!
