FX Reading
I have a non-rotational S&T junior internship this summer and placed into FX Trading, which I thought would be a great fit for me since I am really into macro products and following markets. I've been starting to do some research to help me hit the ground running and am looking for an introductory-level book that would help me understand many of the commonly used models (FEER/BEER/NEER, etc.) as well as the principles underlying them. I already have a very decent finance/macro foundation for a junior, but some of the more economics-leaning stuff is a bit over my head -- really wishing I took a minor in Econ at this point. Please let me know if you have any suggestions!

Study Material for FX Sales job at top IB (Originally Posted: 03/28/2014)
Hi Everyone,
I have been hired as an analyst for an FX Sales team by a top IB in London. I was wondering what material to look at prior to my commencement date. I am an Engineer so I guess that I will need to take a look at Financial Mathematics, FX Options, Macroeconomics and basic accounting. Could you guys recommend some books/material for me to buy on Amazon or take a look at thats basic-intermediate level?

On a more serious note, Mankiw is probably the best for macroecon 101. There was a very practical (and thin) forex trading book I read before joining which proved quite useful - The Forex Trading Course: A Self-Study Guide to Becoming a Successful Currency Trader – Abe Cofnas. I would recommend it very strongly (more than Mankiw which may need more time to go through)
In addition to the Lehman primer (which is rather dated, FYI), there is an FX markets primer by Shani Shamah. Also, read something on the rates market (Tuckman to start with), cause rates and FX are like brothers :) all that basis and stuff
