Studying in London and Want to Intern
I'm going to be studying abroad in London next spring for a full semester during my junior year. Looking like my class load will be pretty light, and while the prospects of letting loose for a semester are very appealing, I think I want to try to get a part-time IB internship somewhere in London to further fill out my resume and gain valuable experience. Go to a semi-target in the midwest and have a solid internship under my belt along with a decent GPA. How doable is this? Obviously don't have any connections in the UK, so I am wondering what the best way to approach banks would be to maximize my changes of securing something. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
The tested and approved strategy, which works both in the US and the UK, is just to send a shit ton of cold emails until you get interviews and offers
