Is it a good idea to pursue an online distance learning MSc (Data Science) from a respected university (Edinburgh) while working at an MBB+ company (Oliver Wyman)?

What would your objective be?
If you work FT at an MBB or T2 you won't have a lot of time. One of the two will suffer and since you may end up prioritizing your job, there isn't much point doing the MSc if you're able to dedicate only 20-30% effort on it. Also, if you have the FT offer, why do you want to do another degree in parallel? Start on the job, become great at it and have the company potentially sponsor it in 12-18 months if you really want to do it.
If you're interested in CS or Data Science as a topic on its own, I suggest you look edX's free courses. They have plenty of data science, most of which are free or can give a verified university certificate for a small fee. Not a full masters but still something that can be useful.
Do you think those certificates are actually useful to invest a little time in? Like do people value them beyond hmm cool they know something
Are you on the bench? It's been like 80-90 hour weeks for me since WFH was implemented. Tell me your secrets.
