MW's Winter Sale. Either that or I've heard the Brooks Brothers Outlet when they have a sale.

JCP always has 100% wool wso/">suits for less than $180 which are perfectly acceptable for people outside Sales/IBD.

IP, so your saying people in Sales/IBD can really tell??

I second illini. I have wso/">suits that's I've paid a couple grand for, wso/">suits that I've paid 500 for. I enjoy the cheaper wso/">suits as much as the more expensive wso/">suits. Get them tailored to you and get a nice wso/">shirt and shoes and you will look fine. Expensive clothes tend to be more delicate and wear out. My grand plus black label RL wso/">suit had ripped elbows and chipped buttons. Devestating. Luckily I have an amazing tailor.

I still think that if the designer manufactures the wso/">suit in Western Europe or the US/Canada, that has a cost, but it also says something about the build process. The designer is willing to spend the money on making the wso/">suit.

Look into who make the fabric, for me its all about the fabric. ANT makes a good point that just because the wso/">suit is expensive doesnt mean it will last longer. You have to look at a lot of different factors, the weather, the amount of use, work conditions. Look into cloth makers like scabal, a tailor can custom make the wso/">suit for you. It will cost more than a tailored rack wso/">suit but it will fit you better and in my view last longer.

As for your question about can they tell, simply yes they can.
