Suitable umbrella?
I am a mid-career professional and I am on track to land a new position with a bank in their Dallas office. This will be my first time working full-time in banking/finance (I've done contractor work for similar firms, but never full time).
As silly as this may sound, I am looking for recommendations on a good, professional looking umbrella. I've lived in desert climates for the more than 10 years and grew up in SoCal . . . I haven't owned an umbrella in, literally, decades! I know that Dallas gets a fair amount of rain and I want to be prepared. Also, I'm a little bit of a bigger guy so a small umbrella wouldn't work for me. Any recommendations on an umbrella out there?

Fingers crossed that one of those helps you.
If you can find Fulton umbrellas in the US, I would recommend them. I own one of their less formal models and the quality is pretty good. They also have several models with larger canopy sizes if you're a bigger dude or want something that two average sized people can fit under.
J.P Morgan umbrella
I would have a look at Fox Umbrellas. Good quality at a fair price.
at my last internship (european MM) my MD used an umbrella from our most direct competitor MM bank lol
I’d recommend Barbour. Affordable yet decent enough look and style. Check them out :)
Davek Elite, solid umbrella and perfect size for a larger gent.
