Summer Internship comparison: Stan Chart TB vs Bloomberg sales&analytics?

Hi, I am new to this forum.
In short, i was aiming at S&T SA but all applications got rejected (some made into final round), now left with 2 offers from Standard Chartered transaction banking (likely to be assigned to the cash sales team), and bloomberg sales&analytics.
I am really struggling to decide which one would be more beneficial for me to leverage into s&t summer next year. I understand both of them are unrelated to s&t but just need to decide one that would make my resume looks better. Thank for your help!

Hey, It mostly depends on what you're looking for, or in which direction you're trying to build your CV. As far as I know based on my friends' experience at Bloomberg, Sales and Analytics is more of a "help desk" role - you will have great exposure to its client base (you will deal will their requests throughout all of your time there) and it can get quite boring in that you will have to stick your eyes to the computer, also exit opps are not that great. It is still Bloomberg though. Therefore you should still consider it. On the other hand, I myself have interned for Standard Chartered in the retail banking dep, therefore I plead guilty to being a bit biased. Great environment and a great deal of responsibility (even if you're just an intern). As you said, they're not really related to S&T. But for the sake of the experience (and name too), I would go for a bank.
Out of curiosity, when did you receive the offer? Is the position going to be in London?
